Spring Cleaning Even In May
Spring cleaning is about really getting down and dirty. It's about cleaning the baseboards, dusting the pictures on the wall and making everything feel fresh again.
But you better hurry! If you live here in central Texas you only have about a week of the wonderful uplifting spring air to feel the urge to clean this way.
That being said, you can of course spring clean anytime of the year. Another great time to do it is after you put up all the Christmas decorations. The dust we create with all of the boxes and wall hangings can amount to a lot more than you think.
Cleaning the house usually involves cleaning the same rooms the same way. With spring cleaning you go a little deeper into areas that you don’t think about cleaning on a regular schedule.
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t help you remember the clutter that may be piled up in various locations. This is first and foremost the place to start feeling lighter and airy-er. You can’t get to the countertop underneath or the baseboards behind the piles if they aren’t taken care of.
Below is a list that will help you to think about those forgotten (or ignored) places that also make a big difference when cleaning this way.
